Are you ready to rumble?
If you answered yes, then I have the perfect place for you to go. Total Boxing is the place to be for a total body workout. I had no clue this place was in Atlanta. Thanks to Angie Newton she introduced me to Todd Wilson the owner of Total Boxing.
Angie, myself and my wife Natalie all went to the gym. Todd gave us a private lesson on Muay Thai boxing and what it is all about. We practiced the proper muay thai stance, punches and kicks. Todd also showed us the proper movements of the body while boxing. The lesson lasted for about an hour. In that time we all did a light sparring match and ended working with the heavy bags.
Below is a short video of our experience. Don’t laugh to hard:)
We used muscles that we did not know we had. The day after I woke up a little bit sore but it was a good sore. I also felt less stress – work has its way of stressing me out. So boxing with Todd was a godsend in a way. I promise you that if you go in the gym upset or stressed you will come out smiling.
To my surprise, we went back again the next day. And boy did Todd have a surprise for us. We thought we were doing to workout like we had the day before, but it was not to be. Todd had us on a regular class work out. We started with normal stretches, push ups and then some sit ups. He also has us planking and that was no joke. We had to hold the plank position for 1 little min. That was the longest minute of my life.
We were wore out and sweating before we even got to the boxing and all the fun stuff….lol! Nevertheless, this was the most fun I had had in a long time. And I plan on going back for more.
Have you ever done muay thai boxing before? If not, what’s stopping you from trying it out?

It was a great time! I would highly recommend that everyone go here for a great and affordable workout. I just posted my experience on my blog. Such a great time. Thanks to both you and Natalie for going with me.
Thank you for inviting us there! We would have never done anything like that if you had not introduced us to it.
